active ... still think they should put an extra pair of handle bars on a bike for the pillion

Definitely passive. Failed three times as a teenager (PS, Taylor the Failer was based in Sale Gtr Manchester).

Passed eventually when I decided being thirty meant I ought to know how to drive. That was Sept. In Jan I bought my sister's old car for practice. In April two spotty-faced youths buckled the door arch and ignition, car was written off for insurance purposes.

That was in a different century! I've not driven since

bit of both really, especially when public transport has let me down.
I passed my test on the second attempt but there was a 6 year gap between them

BTW I'm sure I commented back a few posts but it seems to have been erased. Haloscan or I was censored?

Oh yeah and I'm not a good passenger as I often find myself stamping on the floor at the imaginary brakes

Douglas - you have that sense of having been censored round here too, eh?

Hi *Mrs* Witch. I just found some of the comments on myacelife had gone too. I also note that Haloscan was down for maintenance yesterday...
Coincidence? I think not.

Haloscan say "Update: We've restored the commenting but a couple of the most recent posts from a few accounts may be missing. Those comments are safe however and will be resynced later."

I don't know why I bother writing stuff on my site. Some people just sit here and comment about comments about commenting instead

Me, I'm comments passive too.

hey! I commented about the post. Twice even.

Never mind the posts, it's the comments that *count*

... and they're comments active.

If by that you mean that Blue Witch is an Activist, well, yes.

Not sure I like the implications of comments active

would commenting about comments be meta-commenting? ironic? post-modern? annoying?

Active - always a popular choice when your best friend is transport passive and you live on the other side of London from your favourite bars.

That's another thing about transport active people - they do have this habit of getting on aeroplanes and flying long distances too...

Wannabe Active, Forced Passive.

In other words, I keep failing my driving test and now I live out in the arabian desert where learning to drive is taking your life into your hands then it looks like I'm going to be passive for a little longer until I get back to the UK to retake my test. That was a very long sentance. Sorry.
