Everyone seemed rather taken aback by the popularity of the place, it was a very friendly and civilised queue. It was nice to see such a wide range of visitors, both in age and culture. |
DG-stalkers should note that I actually appear in today's photo on Ham's London Daily Photo blog. Click the photo to enlarge it. But I'm very small. And I'm not the man in the top hat. |
Very pleasing to see crowds. I will have to have a look when I get the chance. |
And half an hour later La Lobster was seen lurking about...the kitchen bits were the most interesting. There were a couple of ladies in period dress helping kiddie winkles with their iced heart arrangements on the biscuits. Plus a ghostly Ernie in the dairy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/266...N03/3280239639/ |
A couple of relatives live on the edge of the park, I may just pop by when I visit them - thanks for the heads-up. |
