And I can see the D3 to be taken out of its current circuitous route.
Yes, in a similarly-styled route-swap, the D3 takes over the end of the 277, the 277 takes over the end of the 135, and the 135 takes over the end of the D3, to better match capacity with demand.

We might be seeing a lot more of this kind of thing in the future.
Oh, The other end of the 277 is for the chop too (will terminate Dalston instead of Highbury Corner) because of Highbury Corner Gyratory removal. IIUC N277 will continue and be extended down to Angel.
The TfL map you link to shows the D8 doing something weird near Bow Church, apparently involving Hancock Road and Bromley High Street, but the have not put any arrows on it, so I don't understand it, but it looks as if there may be variations at different times, or something.
D8 at Bow - not at all clear, but the current route of the 108 southbound runs in a loop via Bromley High Street, thereby using the Bow roundabout twice. I assume the D8 will do the same, and this is consistent with the inset map. I think the little westward spur on the main map is an error.

I do wonder how the people of Poplar and Bow will feel about trying to get onto an already-rammed 108 rather than the not-usually-too-bad D8.
@ Moogal

Doubt the people of Poplar & Bow feel any different from the people in other parts of London about trying to get onto an already-rammed bus...
So this is where the MEC's off the 507,& 521 are off to?
Confirmed: From 1st October 2016, the D8 and 108 will swap routes north of Docklands, and the D8 will be served by double decker buses.

Somebody has managed to swap the tiles at Bus Stop M without making a complete pig's ear.
