(don't peek until you've had a guess)
(still further down) Answers as follows: 1) Stonebridge Park 2) Hainault 3) Cannon Street 4) Becontree 5) Ladbroke Grove 6) Neasden 7) Eastcote 8) Colliers Wood 9) Osterley 10) Seven Sisters (how did you do?) |
6, almost all guesses. one I thought I had right (tooting bec) was colliers wood... |
Zero. I was playing by RSS and couldn't work out what the deuce was going in. |
8. Keep getting "station at the end of the mainline platforms at Paddington" mixed up with "station which used to have mainline platforms but doesn't any more". |
Six. Fair enough. |
Eight. Missed out on numbers 2 and 9. Found it harder than I thought I would - obviously need to get out to the 'burbs more. |
10. I'd have been shocked with anything less. |
7 out of 10, bad start (Missed 1 & 2) and poor finish (10) with good run in the midle! |
Just 5! Did fine on the lines I do use, rubbish on the ones I rarely do. Need to get out more. Thanks for the quiz! |
Nine... 9! How embarassing. Damn eastern section of the District Line, and the forgettable intermediate stations between West Ham and Upminster... |
Yes, that didn't work by RSS for me either... |
Nine. Surprised I got that many. |
8. Missed out 2, which is forgiveable as I've never been to that end of the line, and 9, which isn't as I've done that journey loads of times |
7, feel proud and deflated at the same time.
Sad man that I am. CF |
Ooh, 9. Nearly went for Neasden too |
9/10 Wrong on No 2 - fair enough as I've only been out there once, and that was nearly 35 years ago.
No 4 is easy as one of the options offered for the station between Upney and Dag H is.... Upney. |
Seven, missing 2, 4 and 6. I am duly ashamed and shall hand in my urban transit geek card at the door.
(Did you mean to have Upney as an option for #4?) |
A solid six :) |
10/10! Result. I'd be ashamed with anything less. |
9/10. I knew eight for sure, two were guesses. |
6.
Klepsie - yes, I wondered about that. I thought the answer was so obviously wrong that it might turn out to be right in some weird way. (Are there perhaps two stations called Upney?) |
Ten out of ten, woo! And I didn't cheat and look at a map. (Is this really something to be proud of?)
Upney was easier than it should have been! |
5.All guesses as they're not the areas/lines I use!
Embarrassed not to get the Boston Manor-Hounslow East one right though, as Hounslow East was my nearest station when in digs in the 1980s, and I used it all the time!! |
7. Haven't been on the Victoria Line much. Also mistakenly thought that Royal Oak and Westbourne Park were adjacent as remember them both being alongside the Paddington lines. Hum ho. |
Oops, the two Upneys weren't deliberate. So now there's only one (which just made the quiz slightly harder, sorry). |
@Siwi: They ARE adjacent - just in the wrong direction.
I reckon I only got 100% because there was only one valid answer to question 4 (Elm Park being too close to Upminster). I would have had a much harder time choosing between Becontree and Hornchurch... |
I got 8 out of 10. I am not sure if I should be pleased, or whether I spend just a little bit too much time on the tubeā¦ |
7/10 for me |
10/10 and no cheating. I did do the quiz early yesterday but have just got round to commenting. I'd never have lived it down if I hadn't got them all correct. |
Like Geoff, an embarrassed 9. It was the Victoria Line one I stupidly got wrong (possibly the easiest one as well). |
