dg's constitution must be hardy. Works during week, and then out most of his spare time, in all weathers, Wow. Certainly keeps us informed and entertained every day. Looks like a popular fair, nice to think that Spring is near. |

Well, you can get Advance tickets to Norwich for £9 (or even £8 from Cambridge to Norfolk via Liv St, if you know how to manipulate the booking engine) whereas the cheapest Kings Lynn ticket is £16 oneway.

I've been to Kings Lynn a few times and like the town. I never knew this went on though it's a rather fun tradition.

Some years ago we made a whole series of video clips at the Kings Lynn fair looking at the maths of the various rides and activities, like the trajectory of the rotating cars on the Booster ride, the probability of winning a prize by knocking down the tin cans, and the profit to be made from selling candy floss!
