I'm going tomorrow. Can hardly wait! The last thing I did like this was a tour of the oil tanks at the back of Tate Modern. That's worth a look too, if they do it again. Brilliant acoustics...

Going next weekend, looking forward to it very much.

"Kingsway Tram Tunnel"??? Half the point of going is so you can say you've been to Kingsway Tramway Subway.

I'm going this evening. Looking rforward to it.

Fantastic. I always wanted to go down there.

I would possibly be more interested in the history and the engineering than the art. But heck.

Would love to go and see it but as I'm in the north west it is too far sadly I did tell other knitting pals about it though.

I was there yesterday too. I think I'm right in asserting that I'm the only person ever to pose with a picture of Arthur Bostrom in the Kingsway tram tunnel.

photos no longer permitted... apparently the artist got the hump with people talking about his art work and taking photos and not concentrating on the "embodiment" of the art...

When were photos banned, Sy? People were happily taking them when I went round on Saturday lunchtime. Indeed, the helpful people who took us down there were keen for people to post pictures on the Web, in order to encourage people to come (and were very grateful to DG and others for the publicity so far).

Can you walk the entire length of the tunnel?

Sorry DG; rope making maybe, plaiting perhaps, but not knitting.

Photos were banned by the Sunday Oct 18 session at 6pm. Shame, really - surely the more people who see it, the more will want to go and/or be intrigued by the artist? Now he just looks like a stroppy-pants...
