One feels one must correct your misconceptions.

The esteemed Peers of Our Land are only trying to protect the Homosexual Populace against the ravages of the children in the adoptive population. There is no intended discrimination.

Biologically, the requirement for a foetus is simply ovum + sperm. The environment in which they meet, or from whence they are derived is irrelevant. Therefore your assertion that 'gay children can only be conceived by heterosexual couples' is fundamentally flawed.
