Your warning comes too late - I've just renewed my Annual Travelcard!

So what earth-changing events happened in 3113 BC, at the beginning of this Long Count?
A *third* Comet? The one we've got is in enough trouble as it is...
I planned well, then :)
Thank you DG, you made my day :)
I'll die on a computer keyboard, with those last lines of code in my head - appropriate end for a life quite fun but probably too blighted by compromise.

I wonder why we like to fantasize about Armageddon. It's the fear of dying alone?
I wouldn't recommend heading to New Zealand. It's currently overrun with hobbits.
I'll probably go out as fitting for a 21st century mum... posting minute by minute accounts of the destruction with my friends on Facebook!

Or having a nice chat with them if it isn't!
Load of old B......
Maybe I should arrange to be trapped in a large second-hand book shop with coffee on tap (and a handy toilet), a supply of scones and raspberry jam and my harmonica for playing as I need. Oh and plenty of candles and matches for when the power fails.

Actually I think I'll arrange for this all to happen anyway, as I am not a believer (in anything really) and, well, if it does happen after all, then I (and you) won't be able to discuss it much.
Actually Armageddon has already hit New Zealand, just check out Palmeston North.
Those in the know are off to Bugarach in the French Alps

Space ships are due to arrive to gather up you up just in time.
The disater movie was released in 2009 (just in case?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_(film)
I've got the day off so it should'nt effect me !.
New Zealand is Armageddon. There's more going on in Bow than the whole of their country. Honest.
All it really is the calendar maker stopped for a fag break, took a walk round the Ziggurat and fell off, without having an assistant to carry on. Never mind, they said, 2012's a bloody long way away, we'll have someone trained up by then to carry on. Then a focus group decided having a go at invading Europeans was a bigger deal, so it got forgot. Typical management - blame it on the staff...
No need to worry about the low passenger numbers on the cable car if its only got another few weeks.
