"You'll see the Hoe if you travel by train between Folkestone and Dover"

Not if it's dark or raining!

I did a night walk from Dover to Folkestone but got lost and ended up going inland, otherwise I would have passed the Hoe.
And did you spot any samphire on the cliffs?
Wow, I have always seen the exit driving from Dover, but I had no idea where it led.
It's so surreal, on your first picture on the top, it seems like it's been photoshopped.
How spooky I used the Southeastern offer to get from Dover to London yesterday.

There are zig-zag paths at each end of Hoe, the one at the Dover end was cut off by the Chunnel Tunnel builders. One path at the other end was used by construction workers to get to their lodgings at Capel, but that may not be usable, last time I went up it, you had to use a very thin rope to get up the steep bits.

Not much further along towards Folkestone there's a sea wall & also when the tide's out you can easily walk back to Dover.
You never said whether you could see France?
I picked up a fascinating booklet there about the people who lived at Shakespeare Cliff. Originally associated with a mine, until quite recently there were families eking out an existence which lncluded walking up the cliffs daily to go to school . .
