Lovers of bespoke cupcakes may be sorry to hear that Time Out withdrew their
"eight cupcakes and a bottle of bubbly for £30"
offer at 1am this morning.

Fear not, another London-based website was flogging cheapo chocolate brownies yesterday, I'm sure there are some left.

With QVC, Ebay and now dgDeals, there just aren't enough hours in the day! I've already told my friends on Facebook (all 286 of them) and I'm tweeting as we speak. How will I find time for FoxyBingo and Madbid now???

Aaagh! 'with whom to share them' !!!

I'm wondering when people will fall in that out-of-town so-called 'designer outlet parks' are actually largely just selling off last year's (or the years before) unshiftables (ie the stuff that they wouldn't buy last year in the high street).

Aren't the general public generally gullible?

A bit ago, a girl in my dance class (gosh, how middle class!) bounced over to me excitedly and raved about Groupon. I queried whether it was free, and she responded, "oh no, you pay for the coupon, but the discounts are great". I couldn't help thinking that this was a great way to commit credit/debit card fraud, as she seemed to be saying that you gave your card details on the phone's interent browser, and that it was somewhat of a scam paying to get a discount. Surely, if you've paid to get the discount, it isn't really that much of a discount? And it's never really stuff you need either.

At this rate, if internet trends and memes are where it's at DG will be presenting a video of him singing that bloody Rebecca Black song. Perhaps on Friday?

It's so difficult to decide which two small areas to get fuzz-free. Disposing of old stock - good idea.
Er, I think I'll give it a miss.

Which one of the buildings here is the London kitchen? http://goo.gl/maps/9Ftj

Oh, and Groupon is bad enough without the Watchdog complaints - can't find the video now! :(

I am offering to eat your cupcakes for free if you need a gourmand partner. Will also eat chocolate truffles, you can have the plonk.

Hmmm, no need for any hair removal products, thanks all the same.
Come to think of it, though... have you got anything for putting it back in?

How ironic.

If you don't make me think you make me laugh. Thank you DG. :-)

LOL! I got sucked into a Daily Deals email via the kids schools, as they get a cut of the commission if you select that option! Wonder how long it'll be before UK schools start doing the same?!

Let me sell you some carbon credits - it'll make you feel a lot better - really. Really.

Not.

@Dominic. Now that's something I *would* consider buying.

The fake offer is, of course, the Ambergris & Honey syringe-facial. As I'm sure you guessed.

All of the purveyors and customers are surely from public schools and therefore not in the real world. Not something that need bother us, then?
