I'm wondering when people will fall in that out-of-town so-called 'designer outlet parks' are actually largely just selling off last year's (or the years before) unshiftables (ie the stuff that they wouldn't buy last year in the high street).
Aren't the general public generally gullible? |

A bit ago, a girl in my dance class (gosh, how middle class!) bounced over to me excitedly and raved about Groupon. I queried whether it was free, and she responded, "oh no, you pay for the coupon, but the discounts are great". I couldn't help thinking that this was a great way to commit credit/debit card fraud, as she seemed to be saying that you gave your card details on the phone's interent browser, and that it was somewhat of a scam paying to get a discount. Surely, if you've paid to get the discount, it isn't really that much of a discount? And it's never really stuff you need either. |
