Such a familiar scenario. This is the reason time only moves in one direction, forwards. |
Never go back. (I appreciate you had to. Don't do it voluntarily) |
I am puzzled by the annoyance caused by "the kiss in front of the reception". You wanted her to drag you in a corner? Or are kisses _always_ inappropriate in a work place? I am a continental, the edge cases of affectionnate behaviour still see me so very awkward, so very torn between my natural warmth and the fear of committing a faux pas. |
What a coincidence. So that was you, eh?
If anyone's interested, here's a picture of DG at work during his visit http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1286/1363873446_d67418af5d.jpg |
Many years ago I to went back to an old work place, but that was just to gloat. I had left and got a far superior position at a far better salary. |
I went back once, it didn't work... in fact, it failed quite spectacularly.
Want i want to know is though... does anyone from Job 2 know that you blog and wrote this? |
I went back to visit a former job after just 6 months. The weird thing was that I could remember everyone's names, though I had never been able to do that while I was working there.
|
never go back |
I can't quite get my head round that scenario. Revisiting job 2 as part of job 4? Wouldn't quite work given my current role. The abattoir can stay a distant memory. Aaaaaaarrrgh. |
