I used to do the same with paint charts when I was a child. I recognised some of the hues from then in this 'exhibition'. The only point of interest I found, I'm afraid. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it at this time of year.

Modern art is strange, isn't it? Are you sure the exhibition wasn't sponsored by Topps Tiles? That would explain why the paintings are just random squares.

Obviously, people must appreciate these works, and maybe we're just a little bit old-fashioned. Who knows?

Richter once stated about one of his works, "it looks good, what else should I say?"

Speaking for myself, I much prefer such an attitude to all this wordy esoteric blather about art, even if Richter's works and comments seem likewise plain.
