Fascinating series, thank you.
I see that Google are with TfL on the date though... |
And local radio news, BW!
Excellent set of posts. Thanks. |
Ah yes, hugely interesting. I particularly enjoyed the old map that showed King's Cross station, but not St Pancras.

Brilliant stuff. I've been spending my lunches reading these posts. I've become an anorak of sorts.
I thought I knew London. Not a chance. Seemingly endless facts and history....causing "rapturous research" http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/01/05/rapturous-research/ |
Just wondered if you'd seen the Google front page today : https://www.google.co.uk/
A tube map spelling Google to mark the 150th Anniversary. It is surpising how accurate the map still is given it's been adjusted to spell Google. |
Wonderful series! Despite travelling this route every day, I learnt a lot.

Very much enjoyed this series, DG - thank you for doing something brilliant to mark the occasion(s)!

Another great set of interesting posts. Thanks for sharing DG.

Indeed an interesting few days of dg's blog. Surprised to know know the roof is being re-installed at Farringdon, which should be nice when finished, although it is sometimes pleasant to wait for a train in natural, unfiltered through glass, daylight, in the open air on an "underground" just below street platform.

Thanks, fascinating stuff. I'd never considered how long the gap was between Kings X and Farringdon before.
