(don't peek until you've had a guess)

(still further down)

Answers as follows:

» Watford Junction (used to be on the Bakerloo line)
» New Cross, Rotherhithe (used to be on the East London line)
» Shoeburyness, Leigh-on-Sea (used to be served by excursion trains on the District line)
» Drayton Park (used to be on the Northern line)
» Ongar (used to be on the Central line)
» Southall, Slough (used to be served by Windsor trains on the District line)
» Stoke Mandeville (used to be on the Metropolitan line)

(how did you do?)
I got six, which is a lot better than I was expecting seeming as they were just guesses.

I am really suprised about Leigh-on-Sea and Shoeburyness. They were the two I was most sure of not being served by underground trains.
Eight, didn't know about the Windsor trains.
10/10...although I wonder, pedantically, whether "London Underground" is really the correct term for the Slough/Windsor service - wasn't that the District Railway, and the time that the service ran a few decades before "London Underground" branding - or even concept - entered into general use?

(The Shoebury line service, I think, did run into the 1930s, so probably doesn't require any such qualification)
I managed 8, like Gordon above I was unaware of the Southhall/Slough District line service.
I agree with Dominic above regarding District trains west of Ealing, but I did get all 10. I know, I should get out more...
Six, but just by guessing, I'm afraid.
Another 8/10 here, and with the same omissions for the same reason as John and Gordon above.
8 out of 10

The Slough & Southall ones, Dominic, being two of the five which "have never been London Underground stations".
9, spottted Rotherhithe, but not New Cross. Doh.
HoosierSands,

nope: those five are Clapham J, Ilfrod, Fenchurch St, Ally Pally & High Wycombe
Wow I got nine. I really am geekier than I think. I knew about Slough but forgot Southall would have been en route.
10 but I would have been really embarrassed if I hadn't have got them.
8/10 but not being too hard on myself as apparently Slough and Southall were only served by the District Line for two years in the 1800's.
10. 9 were straight forward, but it took me a while/process of elimination to remember was Drayton Park (doh). Also not entirely sure the Windsor trains were technically tube trains, rather they just happened to run over tube lines.
Missed Leigh on Sea, even though I spotted Shoeburyness. (Although I was doubtful about that one, as I thought the excursions only went as far as Southend)
Mile End once carried "LMS" on the exterior canopy presumably on the strength of these through-trains to Shoeburyness.

5/10...I'm embarrassed!
I got seven. To be honest, I've never knew that the District line ever went to Southall or Slough, although I heard that the other end of the line used to go deep into Essex (meaning I correctly guessed Leigh-on-Sea and Shoeburyness).
7. Didn't know about Leigh/Shoebury and got Slough but missed Southall.

Fun.
Ditto "Another 8/10 here, and with the same omissions for the same reason as John and Gordon above."
9/10. Didn't get Shoeburyness, even though I spotted Leigh-on-Sea.
Oh well...
9/10 Like ChrisMitch I missed Shoeburyness, I didn't think the excursions went beyond Southend.
I also thought that the Met used to serve High Wycombe, but obviously not.
I got them all right, and I didn't peek
9/10 - I also hadn't thought the District trains ran beyond Southend.
I'm the opposite of Peter G, I thought they terminated at Southall and didn't go as far as Slough. Still, I got 9/10 (why did I think Ilford was ever on the Tube?!?!)
