Found an old diary at the back of a cupboard?

Great post, hopefully setting the trend for a few more nicely crafted dips into the diary.

THIS is what you need to do instead of random boroughs! Using your diary (which we all know you have been writing for more than 10 years), do a regular series of retro-blogging, played totally straight. No explanation for it, just write up a random day/experience from the past as you remember it, and with notes from your diary ...

Lost your photos? No backups?

Photos are only backed up if on three separate types of media eg paper, hard drive and cd.

A foreign holiday AND a barbeque within 10 day of each other!!
You were quite the social thing back then, not that you seemed to have particularly enjoyed the latter!
Is bloggong the cause of your social decine I wonder!

Using my Witchy Powers, I have ascertained that the non-delivery on May 31st 2002 was a new PC and that it arrived, finally, on the following Wednesday at 8.15pm ;)

A *free* pencil? GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Your mention of the film you saw being set in NYC reminds me of the first time I went to Manhattan in 1967 and went to the Radio City Music Hall, which was in those days quite a major attraction as you got a movie, a stage show with full orchestra, theatre pipe organ, plus the Rockettes dancing girls in one show.
When the movie ended the credits said "Made at Twickenham Studios" which is where I lived at the time. Seemed strange to be in NYC and watch a film made thousands of miles away at your home town.

Barbecues are events I try to avoid, smoky air to damage lungs, burnt or underdone food to cause food poisoning, and which also gets cold very quickly. Flying insects to bite me, damp grass, cool evening air. Some people seem to like this!.
