I'm planning to have a trip up to London this weekend, I think I'll have to pop in and have a look.

That is what I love about your blog it always gives me ideas of different things to do in London.
Thanks for the reminder. The William Morris exhibition last year was very interesting, and the building is spectacular.
A friend of mine went to the William Morris exhibition, raved about the place, but said he'd heard rumours that there wouldn't be any more shows there. So this is a bit of a result...
Being half Cornish I shall definitely be checking out Two Temple Place! Thanks!
Yes, the Turner perspective drawing looks very modern, though he wouldn't have dreamt of putting it into a frame and calling it Art.

Re Cornwall: I love the paintings of Stanhope Forbes, Norman Gastin etc. Some people rather look down on them, thinking they're too literal, but in fact they're painted with enormous skill and love. There's a very good book about them: "The Shining Sands: Artists in Newlyn and St Ives, 1880-1930" by Tom Cross, 1994.

Very interesting to read about your jaunts to all these places!
and don't forget to pop across to see the wonder of the Roman Bath ... a mystery I will leave you to discover ...
I've already had this exhibition strongly recommended to me, so we shall probably pop in when we're in town on Friday (post-Kraftwerk on Thursday). (Also, my grandparents lived in the Temple for over 40 years, so it doesn't take much persuading to pull me back.)
