I see (or don't see) Pinky Pie has been active on the site again. ;-D
I knew this would be posted at 0300.
I note, with 24 hours hindsight, that this is a particularly dull set of stations.
I used to work in the Sheperds Building, built on the lost railway between Goldhawk Road and Kensington Olympia.

One day a colleague sent around an email with the discovery of this fact. In reply I sent him the timetable :)
The heritage of this line is plain to see, as it was originally built by the Great Western Railway. Brunel's superior broad gauge of 7 feet 0.25 ins eventually had to be converted to fit with the majority, 4ft 8.5 ins. This narrowing of the permanent way is evident to the present day with the extra width between the tracks at each of the stations, apart from Wood Lane, where the new platforms have been built, with the tracks squeezed into the middle with 'normal' spacing between them.
