Merry Christmas DG!

Rob

And a very merry Consumeristmas to you too.

Merry Christmas!!
:D

Wishing you a happy Christmas DG.

Happy Christmas DG.

The station I do not like, always cold and draughty in the winter, looks unfinished with bare brick walls. A long way from the Eurostar ticket office to departure lounge. Ugly old pillars supporting the ceiling in the old cellar. Long walks between different rail services. Trains that depart heading North which are going South to France! ......
Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas DG.

Merry Christmas DG!

Seasons Greeting to you DG, have a good one.

Happy Christmas from me as well. Keep up the good work!

Merry Christmas DG and all readers.

Happy Christmas DG.
......and John - it's supposed to be a Merry Christmas as well.

The cash registers have finished feasting so now you can. Have a great day :)

I hope you and your family have a good Christmas though I'm sure it's a difficult time of year for you all. Thanks for another great year of posts

Merry Christmas DG.

Merry Christmas - thanks for all your posts DG.

St. Pancras Eurostar 'lounge'/waiting area is simply not big enough too. Overall, I think the station has been a bit of a let down - especially given all the money spent.

Happy Christmas DG, have a peaceful one.

Merry brickmas!

Merry Christmas DG.

Full marks for turning the clock into a 6th Olympic ring.

A merry Christmas to you, DG. Hope it's a good one.

Merry Christmas one and all.

I wish Diamond Geezer and all his readers a merry Christmas.

And merry xmas from me too...

Merry Christmas DG and flock.

John, don't be too concerned about trains to France departing in a northerly direction. The trains only head north for a very short distance, before turning east and heading for the channel tunnel.

Christof, the St Pancras lounge is far superior to the Paris GDN lounge, which really is totally inadequate.

Merry Christmas to you and yours DG

Merry Christmas DG

The Paris GDN Eurostar area has never been as good as either of the Eurostar stations in London, but I found the facility's at Waterloo Eurostar much better than St.Pancras.
If I remember the platforms now used at Gare Du Nord for Eurostar are where the "Turbotrains" used to depart from for Calais, providing a faster, -and more expensive,-service than the regular diesel trains. The Turbotrains led to the development of the TGV.

Of course being Gare "Nord" the trains head North.

Merry Christmas to you DG.
