Dazzlebus was parked up and first on display at the Museum Depot open weekend last month. Perhaps it's never managed to escape Acton?
"I found it on Monday morning outside Stratford International station, glinting in the sunlight and being generally inspected by passers-by."

I just "found one" in Victory Park, just up the hill.
Moquette is a bit pixellated :)
Crydon - perfect! It's where my teenage heart was first broken.
after numerous colorful elephants appeared in Central London a few years ago, they all congregated in a park in Chelsea and it was very impressive seeing them all, including the few I'd missed. will the buses do the same before the auction, and if so, where?
I did the QEOP trail the other day. I managed to get lost trying to find the Timber Lodge as there are huge hoardings in place and the map is unclear on the precise route. Having looked at the other maps I had some reservations about the River Trail and its accuracy and DG's remarks confirm my fears. I also thought the trail was a tad too long for the number of sculptures on it. The Olympic Mascot trails were better spaced in that you could be assured that the next sculpture was in view as you left the previous one. That doesn't apply with this trail.

Like DG I had mixed views about the individual "buses". Some are quite nice to look at while others are rather dull. They were generating minimal interest in the OP but it was a quiet day so perhaps no great surprise. They might do better at a weekend or during half term. It'll be interesting to see how many people take the time to do a trail in Croydon. No offence to Croydon but it's hardly on the main tourist drag!
If I wait long enough, will three sculptures come along at once?
bus number 13 is officially down as Gloucester Close (not Court (Ct))in the TFL guide - which is several miles away in North London, not adjacent to Tower Place (which would have been a much easier way to locate it as Gloucester Court stopped joining Lower Thames back in the noughties when the area was redeveloped)
I think it's a lovely idea but I'm not surprised the mum you saw thought it was a waste of money - after all, the Idiot Mayor has wasted untold tens of millions on the real buses so it's almost to be expected that anything related to them will be another waste of money even when it isn't!
Once again you da man. Saw the Threadneedle Street one on a bus last night and was able to feel smug for knowing what it was, thanks to DG.
Dazzle bus now in place.
