Wow! Only 3% are in my age group so far (<20)
I should qualify my response regarding the background colour of my screen:
1. I invert my screen, so the choice is more like " paler shade of black" or "black";
2. I use a screen reader (VoiceOver) to actually read the page ( Irish English female voice - thanks for asking); and
3. Frankly I doubt I would spot the difference between a white and grey background anyway.

…so, in other words, I wouldn't read too much into my choice!
Amazing, when I responded, 44 (15%)had their own blog: do they read yours for inspiration? This proportion will be interesting to follow through the day, if it falls off my thesis might be correct.
I read your blog via Feedly (an RSS aggregator) so rarely visit the DG website. Your survey doesn't seem to include RSS subscribers in its calculations. Why is this
I included an RSS question in the 2014 survey, and it distorted the results. So this year I have a "what colour is the background?" question - in your case presumably white.
Ah, can I change my answer please?

dg writes: Sorry, this is a once-only survey. But don't worry - by the end of the day one single vote isn't going to be statistically significant anyway.
Oddly, it said I had already voted and my vote wouldn't be added to the results. The thought that someone might impersonate me solely in order to fill in this survey is too weird to contemplate, so I assume it's a glitch.

dg writes: Only one vote per IP address is allowed, which might explain it. Or might not.
As another RSS reader, I had to think about that background colour thing too :)
wow, us females are so much in the minority
White background??? Is this one of those blue/gold dress things?
I use Feedly to read Diamond Geezer on my phone and tablet. The computer is usually the last resort.
My answers to your survey may be slightly wrong. Being an old codger I forget when I started reading your blog so had to guess. I also didn't really know how to answer the last question, I don't have a blog but my husband does. In the end I decided to be my own woman - and answered 'no'!
I'm also another RSS reader (on an inverted colour scheme!)

I didn't read the blog so much until I spotted the RSS symbol hidden away (it usually shows up in the address, for me) - once I got that into my feed reader, I was away!
Admittedly, it's one out of a plethora of responses, but I have possibly skewed it a little bit. If I were to complete this tomorrow, I'd be in a different age bracket than I am today...
A question about how we spend our day could be interesting. I wonder what proportion work for a transport operator for instance?
(and can you split the 60+ age range? It's a worryingly wide category I'm getting close to entering, and don't yet feel I have too much in common with most nonogenarians!)
I bet I'm the youngest of the <20s (I'm 11). Not kidding!
@Tube Geek, for you this blog is almost a history blog of how life was lived before you were born : ) I started reading this blog before you even existed *feels old*
Good to read Robert Johnson's comment and to see that he has started posting again.
