I went on Friday and am back there this afternoon. It's certainly a fantastic venue and you get a great view where ever you sit - seeing all the action at close quarters. Given its popularity it was a shame that they couldn't build an extension accommodating more seats like they did with the swimming pool.

We managed Equestrian am and Velodrome pm yesterday with something of a dash inbetween. 2 Team GB golds and a cracking day - Velodrome truly the best atmosphere I've experienced at London 2012 thus far. They offered our 4 year old ear plugs!

We were in seats right by the track with 2 children. I had to ask them not to wave their Union Jacks while any of the races were on, in case one went over the rail and slid down the track in front of the riders!

We waved them like mad though, whenever a medal went to GB!
