Signed "Angry, of Mayfair" of course!

On-line campaigns make me-too-ism all too easy. It's much less demanding to add a comment to a facebook page or a Twitter stream than to head off on a protest march or to meet your MP.

Seen with a European eyes, it's like all British people have become Daily Mail readers.

Funny, my carefully worded, sometimes deliberately humorous comments are often deleted by Big Brother.

Waterhosue is correct. Only individual communication, at the right level, makes one iota of a difference.

Thing is, people signing online petitions and FB campaigns actually think they're making a difference and being heard. They're not.

Signed Crabby of London.

Yes!!! More kittens!! There can never be too many kittens!

I witnessed one of those online persecutions of an acquaintance. It was ugly. People find it so much easier to be vicious at a distance and anonymously. Yes, more kittens!
I used to bother signing the old fashioned petitions and then after a while, you realize that they accomplish very little and there are so many of them. I don't imagine the internet ones are any more useful.

Watching FB comments and the groups people join has been an excellent method for identifying which of my 'friends' are too self-important, brain dead or plain simple to bother wanting to know.

Definitely more kittens!
