Stansted should have Stratford-upon-Lea?

Obviously Victoria for the Gatwick Express

dg writes: Oops, that's on the map but I missed it. Added it now.

Do you mean West Hampstead for Luton (all of the time) and Gatwick (some of the time)? (If Kentish Town qualifies for the latter, then West Hampstead definitely does: there are very few direct trains from Kentish Town to Gatwick)

Not forgetting Liverpool Street and Stratford for Southend Airport!

(yes, only one route - to Jersey, summer saturdays only, but more coming soon, apparently)

Well Clapham Junction is a good connecting point for trains that go to Gatwick.

Southern run a dozen a trains a day (Monday - Friday) from Watford Junction to Gatwick Airport which stop at Harrow & Wealdstone - is this the one?

I said there's "at least one" missing.

So far...
• Stratford definitely ought to be labelled
• West Hampstead probably should be, although the tube station's 200m walk from the National Rail station
• If Kensington Olympia is labelled, then Harrow & Wealdstone (and Wembley Central) definitely ought to be too

Any more?

Seven Sisters for Stanstead?

Croxley and Rickmansworth for 724 Green Line coach to Heathrow?

Stanstead trains do indeed go through Seven Sisters, but normally only when theres engineering works at Tottenham Hale.

The Stratford-Stansted rail service is shite and not worth including (the coach service is cheaper and better).

Boats from Putney are pretty rare too, it's just a little landing stage.

What about Finsbury Park?, Picaddily line goes to Heathrow from there. National Rail from Moorgate has a Finsbury Park stop.

On a tangent, the NR symbol is a bit useless too as its unclear where the trains go. Kings Cross for Inverness is a bit different to Fenchurch Street for Shoeburyness.

Well you could put Hatton Cross on the Heathrow list as you can take a bus to the airport from there. But maybe that would confuse people.

What about Wimbledon for Luton airport? Thameslink goes from there direct.

I got the river boat once! The tube was knackered at bermondsey so I walked back to London Bridge, got the boat to Tower hill and then hopped on the District Line! Was unusual but kinda fun! (I was proud that I found my way to be honest!)

Elephant & Castle for the thameslink Luton service as well, in fact

You wouldn't want to change at Elephant and Castle with a load of luggage, though.

So, the following red airport symbols appear to be missing from the tube map...

Stratford
West Hampstead
Harrow & Wealdstone
Wembley Central
Wimbledon
Elephant & Castle

Whatever happened to London City Airport?

London City Airport has one of the tube map's three black plane symbols (interchange with airport), along with the two Heathrow stations.

'I got the river boat once! The tube was knackered at bermondsey so I walked back to London Bridge, got the boat to Tower hill and then hopped on the District Line! Was unusual but kinda fun! (I was proud that I found my way to be honest!)'

Why not just walk over Tower Bridge?

Becuase that would have involved walking to tower bridge and although I can fin my way around North London with a blindfold on, I didn't really have a clue where I was when I stepped out of the tube in the South...I just followed the riverboat signs.

Change at Euston for Birmingham International, change at Waterloo for Southampton Airport Parkway, and (from 2009) change at St Pancras for East Midlands Parkway?

It does say "London" airports on the key, so I don't think Birmingham counts.

Shame, because "Change at St Pancras for East Midlands Parkway" is clearly excellent advice.

Let Ryanair get their hands on them: then these will be London Solihull, London Eastleigh and London Loughborough airports, surely?

Refering to my earlier comment:
