An interesting week off so far.
The exhibition at the Welcome Collection, from your description and photos, reminded me of the Smogs that we had in the 1950's, which were also lit from above, either the sun or a street light.
Eddie Peake had an exhibition on at the White Cube Bermondsey a couple of years back. I'd taken my then 12 year old daughter there to see the Chuck Close exhibition that was on at the same time. Had never heard of Eddie Peake and so neither of us were prepared for a man roller skating towards us down the corridor wearing only a see through mesh leotard. One of those occasions when I wished I had a camera at the ready since my daughter's jaw hit the floor like something out of a cartoon! We've decided to give the Curve a miss, though its exhibitions have given our family much entertainment over the years.
I think I prefer the Bow Church bus stops !
Beautiful photos of the staircases, especially the portrait one.
" but admission will always be free, because Damien has no ulterior motive other than to share his collection of other artists' work."

Not knowing Damien, nor DG's opinion of him, I can't quite work out whether or not tongue is in cheek here.
Yellowbluepink looks fun, if slightly disorienting. Thank goodness we don't have smogs like, apparently, the Capital used to get in the Fifties.

Those spiral staircases look like proper works of art, unlike some of the other exhibits reviewed in this post!
DG - Thought you'd have done the Police Crime Exhibition at the Museum of London on your week off.

I must get round to that myself but not next week, it's half term so will be rammed!
