Hear, hear.

I second that.

If you read DG via the front page as I prefer to do then you miss out on a little of the humour. DG gives each post a natty title but, afaict, these only show up on the RSS feed.

Today's is called "Sister Act." An earlier one was called "Ice Lolly Lolly." Very drole.

yes yes yes

pay them more you political lizard buggers.

In my own brush with mortality a few years ago, I couldn't have asked for better care than that which I got from the staff at Whipp's Cross. Except the doctor who missed the fact that I had lungs full of pneumonia. The nurses were brilliant.

My mother suffered a stroke a couple of weeks back, so I've been spending a lot of time in hospitals lately and everything you say is true.

Indeed, angels the lot them.

Nurses yes - but Wifey and I have had more than one bad experience with the NHS. anyway DG - glad you're feeling better.

Dear DG,

Plz to not die.

Love, Duck

PS Nurses are the best people in the world. My poor dead mum was a nurse. *sniff*

The facts:
1. dg calls an ambulance.
2. dg spends 30 hours in A&E.
3. dg assures us he is fine and has not been poorly.
4. dg has to take one pill a day.
My diagnosis:
dg fell out of bed and dislocated something.

OMG Rick: i'd never noticed that.

My sister and two sisters in law are nurses. 2 of 3 Brothers-in-law are firemen (sorry, fighters).

I run from blood, me.

Whilst there are in existance, dragons, the majority are angels.

Sounds more serious than falling our of bed Great Aunt Annie, DG wouldn't need to look up symptoms on Google, or be able to dash round tidying house etc. Sweaty and tingly, need to take tablets- Angina? Blood Sugar problems?
Get better soon DG

Er, thanks, but do please read the two comments boxes beneath this one...
