I had heard about this museum but have never been, it looks as if it would be very interesting and just the sort of place that I would enjoy visiting, thank's for the info DG its now on my list for a visit in 2015.
did you wash your hands?
I walked too. It's a beautiful walk.
I was brought up near here. It's lovely countryside. I used to know someone who lived in the Amersham prefabs. He ran a landscape gardening business, and I worked for him in the summer of 1969.
Also, Newlands Park would seem now to be no longer part of Bucks New University. It was sold in 2008. The campus is now run by a private educational and residential company: http://www.chalfontcampus.com/
Sounds like the Weald and Downland Museum at Singleton, W. Sussex, which can be accessed by bus - at least it could when we last went. Wonderful views of the Sussex countryside from the top of a double decker.
Bit germophobic, aren't they!
History: in 2009, 70-odd children visiting a farm in Surrey were infected with E. coli 0157: some were left with kidney damage. Hence the notices you should see at every farm open to visitors.
