That pink colour hurts my eyes. ;-D
I was on one of these new trains last week. Seem very similar to the ones on the Overground system. I'm sure they are useful in the rush hour for carrying lots of people - but during the rest of the day they seem cavernous.
Love the Pink...Just off to Specsavers!
I was mildly amused the other day when a couple of Asian passengers announced that they had arrived at Sheperd's Bush Souk. It also sounded as if the train announcement was telling us that the train would terminate at 'Glasgow' (Plaistow)!
The trouble with these inward-facing seats is that you cannot easily look at the view without getting a pain in the neck.
By sheer coincidence, I was riding on the H&C yesterday afternoon, but from Whitechapel --> Shepherd's Bush Market (i.e. the wrong way). So I must have sped past dg in a train tunnel, drat. So close yet so far to releasing the real identity of dg to the world...
I can't read the pink text!!
You shouldn't be waiting at signal R.FF59, it's a repeater; the train should stop at FF59 if it's showing red.
Agree with Langdon..please find a darker pink and yellow for future postings.
This blog has a policy of using the correct colour for Underground lines where possible. In this case, sorry, that means Pantone 197.

I've changed the pink text to bold, to see if that helps. But apologies in advance - you're probably not going to enjoy Circle line month.
we're still using most of the satellite dishes at TV Centre until October - though not the really big one that's currently pointing right at the H&C line, you may be pleased to know.
I don't think anyone will enjoy the Circle Line month. It's like guessing those really small letters at an eye test!
Perhaps the Circle Line month could have a dark background to the line name to give some contrast?
I would offer a preview, but can't work out how to.
I love that fact about Shepherds Bush Market and, being of a pedantic mind, have spent most of the day trying unsuccessfully to think of another Underground station named after retail. The best I came up with was arguably Surrey Quays from when it was re-named in 1989 until it closed as an Underground station in 2007.
If you're having trouble reading a word (or paragraph!), select it to get it to appear as white on black.
You could have mention that Whitechapel is the only place where the Underground goes over the Overground.
The Whitechapel "Underground over Overground" oddness amuses me more than it probably should. One of those lovely little quirks thrown up by the evolution on the network.
