I thought this was going to end with you telling us it was about to close.

(ps I think there may be a typing error in the third para.)

Still very much open for business, thankfully.

(ps I have removed the erroneous extra code, thanks)

Has the Geffrye Museum done anything different for Christmas Past this year?

I used to think Pellicci's was posh because the teachers from my school St Bernard's went there for lunch, but anyway the interior is a recreation in from about 2000 after they had a horrible fire.

Sounds fantastic, well worth the time and effort.

Nice to know that they are still open, and apparently doing well.
Pity that the New Picadilly Cafe is no longer with us.
Another long standing cafe "The Ritz" in the Goldhawk Road closed down a few weeks ago as the Cypriot owner has retired. There is another cafe two doors along which has recently been taken over this time by Irish people, thankfully the new owners are keeping the same menu. -plus Irish stew!

What happened to BestMate's 'TM" ?

How lovely, thanks DG.

I used to be a regular there in mid nineties but they still remember my name when I visit nowadays. Good cafe food and lovely people.

One of the few remaining traditional East End experiences. Great cooked breakfast, massive portions and reasonable price. Long live Pellicis!
