The problem I think is that most of it individually can have at least a grain of truth. It's the unremitting awfulness of it, the ability to see the worst in everything and the lack of any balance with all the good things in the world that is dangerous. I have to keep reminding my elderly mother who has far too much time on her hands and endless aches and pains to get her down that it's not all bad.
