The big Tsunami was Boxing Day 2004.

I've seen man-made avalanches at a ski resort, but I don't think that counts as a natural disaster.
Does seeing part of a glacier collapse into the sea in Alaska count as an avalanche or landslide?
Was going up a ski lift in France when there was an avalanche off piste to the right. There was a skier in its path, but he managed to get out of the way in time. It wasn't a massive avalanche - probably ran for about 400 metres, but glad I was no where near it when it happened.
Had much of a cliff land on the road in front of us in the mountains one evening during a terrible storm in Andalusia. It was scary. We turned round and high-tailed it away (no choice really). The road was breaking up on the down sides also. We should have stayed home that night.
Observed an avalanche across the valley a few years ago while skiing.
Observed an avalanche across the valley many years ago while hiking. Yosemite Valley, school trip; almost as memorable as the avalanche was the group leader (teacher) standing near the edge and nearly getting knocked accidentally into the huge drop by someone else who was not being careful.
Was in Langkawi in Malaysia, Boxing Day 2004. Not quite as dramatic as elsewhere, it was more like watching a timelapse of the tide coming in, rather than a wave. Didn't stop when it got to the top of the beach, so then ran up a hill away from the beach. Once it stopped we eventually found transport back to our hotel, and other areas of the coast had been hit far worse, smashed houses, fishing boats in trees etc
