How can it possibly have cost around £1M to create? Installing 90 plaques marking the route? After all, the footpaths were already there! This does not include another £1M+ for the playground.

£1000 quid for installing the signs and the other £999,000 to the Queen (Gawd bless her) for letting the peasants walk round her land

Hey Rick, those plaques are pretty hefty things. In fact, one would say that they are trip hazards rather than waymarkers...

Surely a true Diana memorial walk would take in Harvey Nicks, Sloane Square, Knightsbridge? Where's the shopping? It's just a bunch of fountains and playgrounds...
