please empty your brain below

1) Trains must travel via completely different routes (not along parallel tracks)
2) No Circle line
3) No DLR or Overground
4) Just one suggestion each, please.

Kennington to Camden Town via the City or West End branches of the Northern line.

Finsbury Park - Kings Cross (Picc & Vic lines)(and you have a choice of *three* different routes if you were to include the First Capital Connect services from upstairs)

Similarly to Nico's one, Green Park to King's Cross St Pancras (Picc and Vic as well)

West Ham to Baker Street, Jubilee or Hamm & City

Stratford to Bond Street on either Jubilee or Central line.

Stockwell-Euston (Victoria, Northern)
Stockwell-Kings Cross (Victoria, Northern)

Finsbury Park-Kings Cross (Picadilly, Victoria)

Ealing Broadway-Holburn (Central, Picadilly).

Rainers Lane-Kings Cross (Metro, Picadilly)

Euston-Kings cross (Vic, Pic)

Statford-Bond St (Jub, Central)

Warren St-Stickwell (Northern, Victoria).

White City-Liverpool St (Central, Hammercity)

Notting Hill Gate-Bank/Monument (Central, District)

Mile-End-Liverpool St (Central, Hammercity)

Bank/Monument-Mile End (Central, District)

Notting Hill Gate-Liverpool St (Central, Circle*)

Not sure about

Earl's Court-Hammersmith (Pic low level, District cut and cover)

Waterloo to Baker Street on the Jubilee or Bakerloo.

West Ham-Westminster (District, Jubilee)

Camden Town-Kennington (Northern City Branch, Northern West End Branch).

Finsbury Park to Green Park (Victorai/Piccadilly).

Hammersmith-Aldate East (Central, Hammercity)

Mile End-Ealing Broadway (Central, District)

Hammersmith-Aldate East (Central, Hammercity)

Mile End-Ealing Broadway (Central, District)

Can't believe the really obvious ones have been missed.

Leytonstone-Woodford (Central Line via South Woodford, Central Line via Hainult and Newbury Park)

Charing X / Embankment / Waterloo on the Northern or Bakerloo lines.

Briantist - DG did say ONE suggestion each, apart from that you can't spell, you've repeated suggestions from other people and you've made several mistakes.

Ealing Broadway-Holburn (Central, Picadilly). - wrong
Euston-Kings cross (Vic, Pic) - wrong, Northern not Piccadilly

Warren St-Stickwell (Northern, Victoria). - usually requires a change onto the Bank branch

Hammersmith-Aldate East (Central, Hammercity) - you mean the District.

If you're counting Bank and Monument, and the Hammersmith stations as the same, I would say Baker St to Kenton/Northwick Park via Bakerloo or Met.

Euston - Camden Town (Northern CX branch via Mornington Cres: Northern City branch via lengthier route but with no intermediate station)

Can some people not read today?

Anyway, I think I've just spotted one that's not here yet:
King's Cross St Pancras - Moorgate
Met / H&C or Northern

Baker Street - Paddington (Bakerloo or Hammersmith & Circle) - if Bishops Road and Praed Street both count as Paddington

@Chris: Get an effing life mate.

dg writes: learn to effing read, mate.

Ah, but what is the longest such journey you can make (measured by number of stops)? Some of these are only one stop.

Wow, who would've thought "one suggestion each" would be so unclear?

<sigh>

I've tried to make sense of the mess above, and have updated the post.

Any more genuinely different routes?

<sigh>

Size 72 font for "one suggestion each please" next time might be a good idea. I've just studied a tube map for a good 25 minutes and not come up with any new ones.

Had Northern Heights opened then there'd be one or two more.

Hammersmith - Kings Cross (H&C or Piccadilly) if we're counting them as the same station in Hammersmith

How about Victoria - Kings Cross (Victoria/Circle)?

Circle Line doesn't count according to the rules otherwise there'd be about a dozen more.

Hatton Cross to Heathrow T123, via T4 or not...
