I propose St Leonard's chapel in St Andrews as a suitable location: it's tiny (thus keeping costs and potential numbers of guests down), medieval, beautiful, candlelit and fitting, as it's very close to where they met.

I thought they'd hold off until 2012, invite the world (so they can sell them a whole pile of naff royal wedding tat), which would also cut the police bill. If they held the wedding procession through Hackney and the ceremony in the Olympic stadium, hastily renamed the Princess Diana Memorial Olympic Park/Stadium, then all will be well and good in blighty.

@Audrey - good idea, and they could have held the ceremony in place of the opening of the olympics. Because we do royal weddings rather well but I suspect we're about to do an opening ceremony rather badly
