I think that some Scots might be more disappointed by your spelling of their national drink than they were on Results day ;)

I've driven past there many a time but never been tempted to stop ... interesting that they make English whisky for M+S
It's not any English whisky, it's M&S English whisky!
Actually, why is it whisky? The Irish make whiskey, the Americans (in Bourbon County, etc.) make whiskey: I had understood that 'whisky' was distinctively Scotch, and so one might well think it wouldn't be appropriate for the English stuff.
