That second picture reminds me of a Barcelona venue lol

Its not art though, is it?

I cannot begin to imagine what this might feel like...

Went on Friday and agree this one is special...unfortunately second time I went in someone was using their mobile phone as a torch.

You make this sound amazing, I hope it lives up to it.

I popped in an hour ago as I was passing - I was going to assign it a 'Bruce Nauman' level of interestingness but as I didn't actually make it to the fluffy wall (it was quite busy) I will reserve judgement...

I was there late last Friday and liked it a lot. Didn't see any flashers though.

I have recorded some of the Tate's art themes, check out mine!

Isn't it a pick-pocket's dream though?

You say that this is the first piece here that you can walk inside. Surely the very first commission holds that prize? I climbed Louise Bourgeois's triptych sculpture/artwork/mess of rusty metal when I visited the gallery on only its second or third public day back in 2000. My uncle's metal fabrication company (which also built the base of the London Eye) had been tasked with assembling the work from the components that had been shipped from Canada. Unfortunately, there were no instructions and the pieces were not numbered. All they had to work on was a bunch of photos of the assembled piece. I'm not sure if they assembled it correctly (there were no public complaints at the time), but I do know that visitors could certainly go inside it. When I went in, I must confess that I did not have a "revelatory or intimate" encounter as the artist had hoped, even though I went with my then-girlfriend - although that says more about our relationship than the artwork.

Crowds were sparce when we visited two weeks ago, which was just as well. My five-year-old son realised that if you stood in the middle and jumped as highh as you could it amade a very satisfying and very loud crashing, rumbling noise as the metal vibrated. This may have disrupted other visitors quiet contemplation of what is quite a weird space, inside the box.

I still preferred Marsyas though - I though that was just very, very beautiful, whereas I thought the sun was more of a parlour trick.
