Ah, ok...

Dagenham isn't that bad, honest. The tube is even running all they way here this weekend - no rail replacement buses for once.

and Barking's history is almost unrivalled in London.....

Barking and Dagenham has many problems and unpleasantnesses (I speak as someone who lived there for almost two decades) - but, to paraphrase a notorious rap line, a lack of greenness ain't one.

I'm waiting for the final installment. Then we will all know where you are going.

I've been reading your blog for less than a year, and the random borough feature is one of my favourites. I was gutted when I discovered I could not possibly have missed your visit to my home borough - Merton - by a wider margin! Pretty please, after you draw the 33rd slip, could you go back for a "What happened next?" feature? I mean, a lot happens in eight years...

Raspberry Jam?

Which borough did you enjoy visiting the most?

Also, if you could live in any London borough, which one would you choose? I'd pick Greenwich.

I think for the final three you should do all of them over a three-month period. However, don't tell us when you've done them until afterwards.

Then publish the results over a seven-day period with two days for each borough, and the final day for the jam jar itself.

Just a thought.

And back.

Queen Elizabeth II, beer, Lubetkin, dog kennel.
...amongst many other things.

what about haringey???

You went to Havering DG ? Hope you got a look inside the Lubetkin house - friend of a friend owns one of his in Plumstead. I would
Love to see his highpoint flats in highgate.

If it isn't actually a jam jar, I'll be very upset.

Kirk, I believe it started out as a honey jar. You are right to be apprehensive.

What a shame that under your Hounslow link, you actually attended Brentford... However growing up in Hounslow I can understand why. A great feature
