Having heard all the hype around Ello, I must confess to having been slightly underwhelmed upon receiving my invitation and setting up an account. Its as if they've taken possession of a big piece of land, parked a few diggers there and handed out leaflets, but are yet to dig a hole or actually build something. It puts me in mind of those rather awful animated GIF images showing a vibrating pneumatic drill and promising great riches if you check back regularly.

I've also got an account I don't know what to do with, having failed so far to find anyone I know, put up an avatar or even write anything. I know I'm inept, but this is embarrassing. If I can remember how to sign in, I'll look for you.
