I predict it will be nowhere as bad as Remainers/The Media think.

Beyond that - I'm not touching this one!!!
I am still willing to be proved wrong but all the evidence so far shows our government heading in a very insular direction.

We still seem to think we are big fish in this world but by cutting ourselves off we will soon prove no one really cares about us. Why bother with the UK when the EU, US, China and India are far bigger
As someone who has lived in a couple of non-EU countries, I can say it's very possible to be outward looking, connected and prosperous regardless of membership in the European club. I predict the diversification / internationalization of our society will continue at an ever faster pace this decade.
I hope to be proved wrong too, but I fear we'll be worse off - particularly if we end up having to jump to the beat of larger countries with lower standards in order to trade.
I also expect prices to rise putting even more strain on an already brow-beaten population.
I suspect we will eventually emerge out of the mess still tied together fairly close to the EU

Indeed it might be the start of what should have happened before, a proper 2 speed EU, with one group moving closer together, and another with looser ties but free trade etc
I predict that a new world order will be well advanced and the UK will be taking it's (minor) role in that rather than trying to cling on to the remnants of an old world order.
The potential fragmentation of the UK is of concern i.e. whether the Union will hold together in the face of pressures from those within the smaller nations “to take back control” of their own national destinies?

These nations are small in overall population terms compared with England, and at present it seems that what England wants, the UK gets. But this is not a good model for future national cohesion, especially if significant extra resources are given to our friends in the north, but not to those north of the border.

Before 2030 I think, we will have discovered how tangible these pressures actually are. And whatever happens, this issue presents an interesting set of challenges for the Prime Minister to juggle with.
Scotland already gets far more money per head than the English regions (the North or Cornwall) anyway
