What "bright spark" came up with this idea...I mean yes I can see who and what is involved...but someone somewhere must of had that moment when the thought of this crossed their mind. If I'm honest I hope that at least one or two couples end up finding their "perfect match" thru this...goodness knows the world can do with more love and less hate. As for me...well I had this idea of travelling on the number 14 bus on the 14th...and maybe at 1400 I set eyes on the love of my dreams...

I find it all a little "sad" really. Surely there is a lot more to offer in London for those "romantics" out there than this sorry event. Why not wire-up the London Eye with a big "heart" LED system...I'm sure it can be done. Plus then plenty of nice places to eat and stay nearby...or if on a budget can stroll the parks or visit a gallery or two.

On Saturday we took the DLR from Lewisham to Royal Victoria and at 16.00 there was quite a queue for the Danglway and with 3 couples squeezed into a pod it was not exactly the romantic trip expected. Also my wife was peed off because I had to pay for her to pay despite her having her staff pass.
