Nice location to own a house, but I would not want to live in a house with all that dark wooden panelling. I'll try to look inside later this week. Thanks dg for the information.

I too can add it to my list of "interesting things I could visit at lunchtime" - along with the British Museum, St Pauls, and the John Soane Museum.

(I've worked in the area since 1981, but, like many of us who go into London every day, I've never got round to visiting any of the touristy bits.......)

Definitely on the list for the next visit to London. Once again thanks for the info DG.

Looks like a must see - very many thanks

Ive often glanced at this building and never thought that the opportunity would come to get inside and have a look, thanks DG for letting us know about this riverside gem, definatly on my list to visit soon.

Thanks for this. I've also passed it so many times and thought it a beautiful building, but it was always very anonymous and I never managed to find out about it. A definite must-see!

This looks like an interesting place for a visit. I'll have to see it myself one afternoon.

Excellent. It's now on my list too.

By the way, the current hyperlink attached to the word "cafe" in this post leads to the Chelsea Physic Garden cafe's website.

The cafe at Two Temple Place is run by the same people who run the cafe at the Chelse Physic Garden - they just haven't updated their website to mention this yet. Looked like rather a nice cafe too.

Thanks for the tip. You make it sound much more interesting than their own web site does!

Finally got there today. 10 to 15 minute queues outside the front door at 1:30pm, not visibly smaller when I left about 2:30. Certainly worth a visit, but (a) hurry and (b) be prepared to wait outside. I wonder what the next exhibition will be...
