If new technology is your thing its worth a ride on the Heathrow Pods from Terminal 5 car park (second floor, I think) out to the "outer" business car park. Little four seat, driverless, computer controlled "cars" on an elevated guideway. The journey take around five minutes and the only downside is the irritating robot woman's voice who talks to you as if you were five years old and even says "nearly there". Shriek!
Free, of course, as is all public transport within the airport perimeter.
I'm struggling to come up with much else for my local borough, but how about:

Near to Harmondsworth Barn (where the village itself is worth a few minutes exploring, and feels something of a time-warp so near to Heathrow) is Harmondsworth Moor, for some good walks and views over Heathrow, plus a memorial to a WW2 bomber that crashed there, and the remains of a Road Research Test Track.

The ANZAC cemetery in Harefield, and the nearby St Mary's church if you are lucky enough to find it open.

The top of the former Uxbridge dry ski slope has one of the best views in west London, particularly about 5 minutes after a ceremonial flypast over Buckingham Palace, as one of the flightpaths goes right past.

I would also have recommended a couple of good canalside refreshment places, but I see that's not allowed.
