Not sure if it qualifies, but the LT Museum Depot at Acton is worth a visit when it opens a few weekends each year.
There is also a Museum in Gunnersbury Park, but it is currently being refurbished courtesy of a Heritage Lottery grant.
The same (closure) also applies to the Pitzhanger Manor House and Gallery in Walpole Park, not due to re-open until 2018. Perhaps to be noted for the future?

Gunnersbury is actually in Hounslow although L B Ealing does contribute to its funding.

The Museum Depot's not going in, sorry, because it only opens two weekends a year.

I might come back and add Pitzhanger Manor and Gunnersbury in a few years time...

The Open Weekends are just twice a year, however:

"Guided tours take place on the last Friday and Saturday of every month."

Which puts it in a similar category to Marble Hill House below.
