I'm afraid the link to the Beverley Brook Walk pdf no longer works.

Southside House, next to King's College School on Wimbledon Common, is an absolutely fascinating privately-owned house in William & Mary style, well worth a visit. Once the home of Axel Munthe, author of The Story of San Michele, its furnishings have been left untouched, and the guides have some excellent stories to tell of the eccentric personalities and history of its former inhabitants. See www.southsidehouse.com. Cannizaro House gardens just across the common are also worth visiting in summer, especially during the annual outdoor music festival.
I work in Wimbledon and I did 5 different parts of the Wandle trail in my lunch breaks. It's nice!

I was excited to spot the "bridge to nowhere" you had blogged about :)
