Am I the first to wonder about the significance of the shading on DG's map of districts? Can we expect our intrepid explorer to visit the shaded districts to the East of Epson? I think we should be told.

Ha again. I spent my first 18 years on that peculiar housing estate. A great place to live, surrounded by the jungle of the Common where all the estates children would disappear for most of the day in Summer. You can walk for a few miles without crossing a road. Amazing as it's 30 minutes from Waterloo.
