Only 4% of UK households buy The Sun.
Only ½% of UK households buy The Guardian.
I blame the Audit Bureau of Circulations, not you, for not making this data available: how many does the Morning Star sell these days? Still roughly 10,000?
Are there audited figures on digital subscribers? The Guardian in 2018 was calming 500,000 paying subscribers and more recently set a target of 2M. Others have a stricter pay-wall rather than the supporter/subscriber model and others are rely on advertising only. The newspapers are still jostling with each other to find the right print plus online model but it is clear that the print side is diminishing rapidly.
I wonder how these figures are influenced by the newspapers 'bought' in Waitrose?

That is, they go through the till and are immediately refunded, so effectively given away free when you spend a certain amount and have a Waitrose spy-card.

dg writes: In June, a "senior source" alleged the Waitrose offer accounts for more than 10% of some titles’ paid-for circulation.
Do these figures include online only subscriptions? Or are they just the physical circulation?
