Young people today have it far too easy. I remember when £12 a week was a good wage. And you had to work for it. |

Maybe it's just because I'm an American, but... huh??? Dave in Chicago |
I pass through West Drayton every day. Twice a day. One day (this is no joke) the train stopped at West Drayton and a lady getting off slipped and fell under the train. A lot of people tried to help. I called the emergency service for an ambulance and the operator asked me for a street name, to which I replied "I don't know; I'm not on a street, I'm standing outside a train I was riding which is now at West Drayton train station", but she insisted that she could not call the ambulance without a street name. I repeatedly told her that I had no clue what street it was on, but I could go outside to find out if she liked. Which I then had to do, with the help of some other passenger. That's the only glimpse of West Drayton I've ever had in my life. |
I know I'm a bit late, but I've never lived in West Drayton. Anyone else? |
Oops. How late is "a bit" late? |
probably not as late as this one |
I'm the latest!
