And there was I expecting some Twitter action from you - and you're here!!!

Apart from 1) One of the Fratellis swearing, and 2) Joss Stone's legs, it's been RUBBISH!

*throws crisps at screen*

And our Amy wouldn't have been on a 1967 Brits, because they'd never have trusted that funny foreign R&B music then.

You missed out Russell quipping on American 'friendly fire' in Iraq. Give him some credit - even if it's all cue-ed up.

Wouldn't find it so funny if it was my loved ones blasted to bits by some thick Yank, though.

Ooooh, he said "shit" before 9pm! OOOOOH!

(and Haloscan's wobbling!)

Oh, piss, forgot Take That were on.

*switches to football*

Nice take by Russell on the Take That-Robbie Roller Coaster I thought...."Take That are Kings again but next week Robbie might be Prime Minister and they will be falsely imprisoned for being shoe bombers".

Oh, HERE you are. Thought you'd be on Twitter, duh!

Take That were awesome!

Did Russell just earn his own sound dip introducing Corinne Bailey-Rae???

Oasis "standing on the shoulders of giants... and copying their chord structures". Russell luck to be still vertical!

Is this a tribute band on now?

Oh, if you switch to BBC2 now, you get to see that twonk out of the Ordinary Boys walk out of Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Damn! Two mentions of the Preston bit on Buzzcocks. I missed it (but I thought it had already been shown before tonight anyway).

I thought Russell seemed unusually stilted and slightly scared tonight. Certainly without his usual swagger. He was okay, but he makes you realise what a skilled host Chris Evans is.

There were loads of unexpected winners tonight, but I managed to dip by only one from my prediction score of last year (6/13 this time around). You'll have to join me in a prediction competition next time!

Preston walking off the Buzzcocks looked really fake.

It's repeated on Saturday night, and it was a bit of an anticlimax.

I'm not publically admitting to being a Radio 2 listener, but does anyone else spot the irony that Muse won the award voted by Radio 2 listeners, but they are not on the Radio 2 playlist?!

Absolutely, Anon. I suggested in my own live Brits comments that most R2 listeners may not have heard (of) Muse. I think the result shows that other people were voting, including Muse's mailing list people (which includes me). Having said that, they were the right winners (as Take That weren't nominated for best live act), so it's hard to complain about that one.

Oasis performance was completely ruined by sound gaps, and it was after the 9 o'clock watershed. Not happy!
