Hello there Mr. DiamondGeezer-

I love your blog(s) - I tried to send a line to say this and was thwarted by the fact that your link hooks automatically to my work email, which takes the firm position that Am Not Allowed to email you, for whatever reason. Anyway what an excellent blog, and a fantastic list of some of my favorite museums, but what about the Soane?

Happy New Year from New York.

The Soane got reviewed in 2005 (here),
along with the following...
• National Gallery [website]
• Kew Gardens [website]
• Whitechapel Art Gallery [website]
• Cabinet War Rooms [website]
• Sir John Soane's Museum [website]
• Dr Johnson's House [website]
• Design Museum [website]

Thanks for the tip about New London Architecture DG, was well worth a visit and will be back in future.

The Ben Franklin link was totally excellent... as well as the entire Bakerloo 100 series.

I keep thinking the DG Guide to London ought to be a tourist guidebook staple. I'd think you already have the content... just needs a publisher.

I was planning to pop in there anyway, but thanks to your reminder I said goodbye to the Theatre Museum last Wednesday.
I've still not been to five on your list, which is a bit embarrassing for a 40 year old born & bred Londoner.
I've been to Chislehurst Cave, not for about three or four years, but I'm sure I had to pay to get in. How long has it been free?

Oops, sorry.
Chislehurst Caves cost a fiver to get in.
