Immaculate timing

You forgot the 5 tick boxes on each question, they are "Strongly Disagree", "Slightly Disagree", "Neither Agree no Disagree", "Slightly Agree" and "Strongly Agree".

Oh how I miss all of this

You will note that BW is hosted independently, and hosts everything within its own server space. It relies on nothing from anyone else.

BW, like BW, has absolutely no tolerance for this type of rubbish. That is why BW also works for BW, and no-one else, ever again.

Sorry. Unable to comply

Don't follow any of the links in the post unless you're comfortable around words like "monetize" and "performancing".

Oh God, the flashbacks...

"I will stop blogging in June and get a life instead".

This was my one and only blog objective for 2005 and I was 100\\% successful in attaining it. I suppose I ought to appraise my life performance instead. Oh dear.

Ditto Dave. Although I might conclude "I should stop hanging around comment boxes" as a goal for 2006.

"Let's face it, sorry, you're 3."

I demand the right to be a 4! or a 5! Maybe even a 42!!

I thought (hoped) someone with too much free time on their hands might have set up something for that last link... but alas no.

How depressing to see even the Shetlands have succumb to SMART type mumbo jumbo. You'd have hoped life would be simpler there...

In my bleary eyed state I thought you were being serious! Anyways, I have my real job for that mumbo jumbo..

Wow, good timing. I just had a performance review this morning at work. Funny how my objectives for 2006 were the same as 2005's...

Well, for an initial effort, that wasn't bad, but I hope you didn't think that was sufficient to admit you to the hallowed sanctum of HR, did you? Let me help you improve.

1 - There were insufficient TLA. In fact, there was just one acronym (which even sounds like a real word). This shows you hardly made an effort.

2 - Your text was comrehensible. Meaningless - so you are 50\\% there - but comprehensible. Please work on that.

3 - What you were talking about actually has some relevance to what you, and your readers are doing. That is not the way to approach any HR directive.

4 - You entirely failed to address equal opportunities.

5 - You also failed to abuse George Galloway.

Sorry, better luck next time.

I'm not sure whats more scary: the fact I have to do SMART objectives and "identify key objectives and core competencies against an agreed framework of developmental targets"...or the fact everyone else here seems to knows what they are. Surely not everyone here is a civil servant?

My elbows are tingling. Not in a good way.

I liked your space immediately because of all your record reviews. Then today I saw the bloggie criteria blog and thought it was perfect to link to mine. Yes, you made the short list AND I voted for you as one of the 5 I chose for the irishorbritish category! Good luck!

I'd like to meet the person responsible for thinking up appraisal and the person responsible for SMART objectives, and then lock them both away in a dark meeting room and throw away the key.

I haven't got a clue what you're on about ~ one advantage of being a long-term expat I suppose.

As I didn't have any objectives I presume I've done quite well.

Is that OK or do I fail?
