Spooky! I had lunch in Southwark yesterday, and drove past the market. We went onto nearby Lambeth for the Imperial War Museum.

The Velodrome wrangle really is becoming very messy. The Dulwich Estate are so secretive and refuse to co-operate with anyone but their 'preferred partners.'
We all know that their preferred partners are Fusion Leisure Lifestyle, the sports management company that has finally signed the Lido lease after stalling for two years.
But why won't the Estate and Fusion both come out and confirm their plans? A whole summer of cycling has been lost.
Doesn't inspire you much for 2012.

At first, I thought the Random Borough thing was a tad sad. "This bloke needs a girlfriend/boyfriend/huh, friend," I thought. Then I mentioned it to Hubby and the kids and lo and behold... they thought it a great idea. We've justed moved to New Zealand and they thought it'd be a great thing to do here with Auckland's boroughs to find out more about where we live. So thanks; that's my Sundays taken up now. And there was me, thinking I could do beach n bbq n wine tasting when I arrived here.

I'm very pleased you picked Southwark. I've lived there (East Dulwich) for about a year and a half now, so although I know parts of it quite well I could still know it better.
(Still haven't even got round to going to the picture gallery even though it's within walking distance. How lazy is that?)
